AISLE POLICY
As a courtesy to others, guests are requested to refrain from walking
in the aisles during at-bats. Ushers will ask guests to voluntarily
observe this policy.
ALCOHOL POLICY
No alcoholic beverages may be brought into Nationals Park. District
of Columbia law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to
persons under the age of 21. Therefore, guests should be prepared
to show proper identifi cation and proof of age when purchasing
alcoholic beverages at Nationals Park. General alcohol sales will
end at the conclusion of the seventh inning but may also be discontinued
earlier at the discretion of the Nationals. Guests may not
take any alcoholic beverages out of the ballpark.
ALL-STAR BALLOTING
All-Star Ballots will be available throughout the ballpark from approximately
the beginning of May through the beginning of July.
Guests may cast their ballots for their favorite Nationals player at
Nationals Park as well as submit votes on the internet at nationals.
com. Vote early, vote often and vote Nationals.
ANIMALS
Certified service animals or service animals in-training for the disabled
are welcome at the ballpark. All other animals are prohibited.
AUTOGRAPHS
Nationals players and coaches can sign autographs at their own
discretion from the time the ballark opens until 30 minutes prior to
the start of the game. Players and coaches are not permitted to
sign autographs during the game. At any time, an Usher may ask
that guests return to their designated seats. Guests are asked to
be considerate by not inconveniencing others sitting in autograph
signing areas.
AUTOMATIC TELLER MACHINES (ATMs)
PNC Bank or Industrial Bank Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) are located on all levels of the ballpark at the following locations:

Baby changing stations or tables can be found in all public restrooms inside of the ballpark.
BAGS AND BACKPACKS
No bags larger than 16 inches x 16 inches x 8 inches will be allowed into the ballpark. All bags are subject to inspection. Guests are prohibited from bringing hard containers into Nationals Park.

BASEBALL BATS
Baseball bats may not be brought into the ballpark.
BATTING PRACTICE
Guests are invited to watch batting practice upon the opening of gates. Center Field Gate will open approximately 2 1/2 hours prior to the start of each game. All other gates will open approximately 1 1/2 hours prior to the start of the game. Batting practice times are approximate and subject to change without prior notifi cation and at the discretion of either team. See GATE OPENING TIMES.
BEACH BALLS AND OTHER INFLATABLE ITEMS
Beach ballls and other infl atable items are prohibited in the ballpark. See PROHIBITED ITEMS.
BICYCLES
Bicycles are not permitted inside the ballpark; however, the Nationals encourage guests to utilize bicycles as an alternative means of transportation. Guests may lock and secure bicycles at several designated locations at the ballpark, including the Bicycle Valet.
BICYCLE VALET
Nationals Park is bicycle friendly, with space for 250 bikes located around the exterior of the ballpark. Nationals Park offers a FREE bike valet located in Garage C at the corner of First & N Streets, SE. Access to the valet is on N Street just left of the entrance. The valet will be accepting bikes 2 1/2 hours before game time and will close 1 hour after the completion of the game. Guests may figure out the best route at nationals.com/waytogo.
BOTTLES AND CANS
Glass, metal or plastic containers of any kind (except for factory sealed, plastic water bottles no larger than 1 liter and kids' juice boxes) are prohibited at the ballpark. Only one bottle of water per person will be permitted. See PROHIBITED ITEMS.
BOX OFFICE
The Nationals Park Main Box Office is located at the ballpark's Center Field Gate. Guests can also purchase tickets at four satellite ticket windows located at:

CAMERAS AND VIDEO EQUIPMENT
Guests are permitted to bring cameras and video equipment into
Nationals Park, provided that they are intended for personal use
only. Cameras with a lens longer than 8 inches may not be brought
inside of the ballpark, except by credentialed media. Taping of
any game footage is strictly prohibited by Major League Baseball.
Guests are not permitted to stand in the aisles, portals or walkways,
or obstruct others from viewing the game while taking photographs.
Monopods and tripods are not permitted in the ballpark.
CHERRY TREES
Nationals Park has fourteen Kwanzan Japanese Cherry Trees.
Eight of which are located in the Center Field Plaza. The remaining
six Japanese Cherry Trees are located on the Main Concourse
beyond left fi eld. These trees were grown in south eastern Pennsylvania.
They were transplanted to Nationals Park on March 6, 2008
in an official dedication ceremony.
CHILD ID BANDS
Guests wishing to obtain identifi cation wristbands for their children,
indicating their seat location in the event they become separated,
may visit the Strike Zone and speak to a Nationals representative.
CHILDREN
Children under two years of age are not required to have a ticket to
enter Nationals Park. If attending without a ticket, they must sit on
the lap of an accompanying adult. Strollers must adhere to ballpark
policies. See STROLLERS.
CONCIERGE SERVICE
Concierge desk services are available in the Lexus Presidents
Club, Washington Suites, PNC Diamond Club, both levels of the
Stars & Stripes Club and on the Lincoln and Jefferson Suite Levels.
The concierge desk on both levels provides guests with an array
of services including transportation information, restaurant recommendations,
relevant ticket information, the Nationals schedule
and team information and other special services upon request.
COOLERS AND HARD-SIDED CONTAINERS
Coolers and hard-sided containers are prohibited at Nationals
Park. See PROHIBITED ITEMS.

- Harris Teeter VIC Card Tuesdays
Receive $5 off tickets valued at $24 or more for every Tuesday
Nationals home game by presenting your Harris Teeter VIC
Card. The Harris Teeter VIC Card must be presented at the Nationals
Box Office day of game only to receive the $5 discount.
- Washington Post Wednesdays
Receive $5 off tickets valued at $24 or more for every Wednesday
Nationals home game. Must present the front page of that
Wednesday's Washington Post at the Natoinals Box Offi ce to
receive the $5 discount. Ticketing discounts apply for that date
only. Two (2) ticket maximum per Wednesday Washington Post.
- Family Fun Pack
$14 per ticket includes: Ticket, hot dog, drink (Coke) and chips.
Minimum 2 tickets. Ticket location will be in the upper right fi eld
terrace for Sunday, non-premium games only. Tickets can be
purchased online or at the Nationals Park Box Office.
- Military, Seniors and College Discounts
For all non-premium, non-holiday games held Monday-Thursday,
senior citizens, government employees, active members of
the military, and college students will receive a $3 discount off
any ticket priced at $10 or more. Tickets must be purchased on
game day at the Box Offi ce with the appropriate ID. Transactions
are limited to one (1) ticket per person.

EMERGENCY EVACUATION
In the event of an emergency, Nationals personnel have been
trained and instructed to assist guests in evacuating the ballpark.
Guest are asked to remain calm and follow the instructions of Nationals
personnel and the public address announcer.
ENTERING THE BALLPARK
For the safety of everyone at Nationals Park, the Nationals require
that all persons entering the ballpark be searched for prohibited
items (see PROHIBITED ITEMS). This includes a thorough inspection
of all jackets, coats, packages, bags, backpacks, purses and
any other containers brought to any of the ballpark entry gates. In
addition, guests may be randomly selected for security sceenings
with hand-held metal detectors.
EVENT SEATING POLICY
The Nationals are committed to providing an affordable, guest
friendly, high quality entertainment experience in a world class facility.
In order to ensure that all guests receive the full value of their
ticket purchase, only those persons with a particular ticket will be
able to occupy that seat. Nationals staff will be checking tickets to
safeguard each customer's individual ticket purchase.
EXIT AND RE-ENTRY POLICY
Guests may not exit and reenter the ballpark using the same ticket.
However, in the event of an emergency, guests should contact a
gate supervisor, who will permit a guest to reenter the ballpark at
the same gate. Guests who leave the ballpark at any time, without
the authorization of a gate supervisor, will not be permitted to reenter.

FAN INTERFERENCE
It is illegal to touch, attempt to touch or generally interfere with a
ball in play or a player during a game. Any guest doing so will be
ejected from Nationals Park.
FAN MAIL
Letters should be addressed to specifi c players or coaches. Letters
will be forwarded to individual recipients. Fans should be aware
that players receive a large amount of fan mail weekly and it may
take a few weeks to a few months for a response. The Nationals
cannot guarantee that a player or coach will respond to fan mail.

Guests should refrain from sending items for autographs. The
Nationals are not responsible for returning mailed items and do

Any guest venturing onto the playing field before, during or after a
game or event will be subject to criminal prosecution and/or fines.
FIRST AID AND MEDICAL SERVICES
There are three (3) First Aid locations inside of Nationals Park,

EMTs are in the ballpark and ready to respond to emergencies.
Guests requiring First Aid assistance are urged to contact any
member of the Nationals game staff or report to any Guest Services

FOUL BALLS, HOMERUN BALLS AND BATS
All guests are asked to stay alert throughout the game for foul balls
or bats that might leave the playing area. Guests are permitted
to keep all foul and home run balls that are hit into the seats, but
are asked to be cautious and courteous to others when collecting
a ball. Bats entering the stands must be returned if requested by
the Nationals or Visiting Team. Guests are prohibited from throwing
balls back onto the fi eld. Violators are subject to ejection or
possible arrest. Any guest that interferes with a ball in play or the
game in any way is subject to ejection from the ballpark. See FAN
INTERFERENCE.

Nationals Park has several gate locations around the ballpark for
entry and exit:

GATE OPENING TIMES
For all Nationals home games, the Center Field Gate will open 2
1/2 hours prior to fi rst pitch. At this time, guests will have access to
the Red Porch, Strike Zone, stands to watch batting practice and
concession stands. All other gates will open 1 1/2 hours prior to fi rst
pitch. All gate opening times are subject to change.
GREEN DESIGN
Nationals Park will strive to become the fi rst Major League ballpark
in the United States accredited as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental
Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System certifi ed
ballpark. The new ballpark will pay particular attention to issues affecting
the health of the Anacostia River, such as stormwater management
and minimization of water pollution.
GUEST CODE OF CONDUCT
The Nationals are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and
enjoyable ballpark experience. Nationals employees are trained to
work in unison with guests to adhere to the following code of conduct
to help ensure a family entertainment environment:
- Guests will enjoy the baseball experience free from foul/abusive language or obscene gestures
- Intervention with an impaired or intoxicated guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner
- Obscene or indecent clothing will not detract from the guest experience
- Guests will show their ticket when requested and sit only in their ticketed seat
- Guests will refrain from displays of affection not appropriate in a public, family setting
- Progress of the game will not be disrupted by guests' actions or unauthorized persons on the playing field

Guest Services locations open at the same time as the ballpark
gates and remain open until 30 minutes following the game to
assist guests with lost and found items, lost or missing guests,

HOMESTEAD GRAYS BAR
Guests can find this nostalgic step back in time when
they visit this Negro League team tribute inside the Stars
& Stripes Club located on the Club and Mezzanine Levels.
Access to the Club and Mezzanine Levels requires
guests to have the proper ticket.

INJURY DISCLAIMER
The ticket holder assumes all risk and danger incidental to the game
of Baseball, including specifi cally (but not exclusively) the danger of
being injured by thrown bats and thrown or batted balls, and agrees
that the Commissioner, the Participating Clubs, their Agents and
Players are not liable for injuries resulting from such causes.
INLINE SKATES
Guests are encouraged to try various modes of transportation to
travel to Nationals Park. Inline skating to the ballpark can be a convenient,
healthy alternative. However, guests must remove their
inline skates prior to entering Nationals Park. Guests will be expected
to store their skates safely under their seats. Additionally,
skating on "Heelies" is prohibited within Nationals Park.

JUNIOR NATIONALS CLUB
For all kids age 12 and younger, the Junior
Nationals Kids Club, presented by Coca-Cola
and Harris Teeter, is a great way to enjoy Nationals
baseball. Based on membership level,
members receive a membership card, tin lunch box, coupon book for discounts on tickets and merchandise,
sticker sheet, autographed photo of Screech, participation in the
Kids Run the Bases promotion and much, much more! For details,
guests should go to nationals.com and click on "Kids" or stop by the
Strike Zone at Nationals Park during any Sunday home game.

Ks FOR KIDS BY CAREFIRST
For every strikeout a Nationals pitcher throws, CareFirst will donate
$25 to area Boys and Girls Clubs.
KIDS RUN THE BASES
Guests are asked to join the fun at Nationals Park for Kids Run
the Bases after select Sunday home games. Kids Run the Bases
begins following the last out of the game. All kids ages 4-12 are encouraged
to participate. Starting at fi rst base, kids will be directed to
run around the bases. Only one (1) adult per child may accompany
runners to the fi eld where the adult will continue along the warning
track and then meet the child near home plate. Junior Nationals
MVP members receive VIP line privileges! Parents and guardians
are encouraged to sign-up their kids on nationals.com or in the
Strike Zone during Sunday home games.

LASER POINTERS
Laser pointers and pens are prohibited inside of Nationals Park.
LEXUS PRESIDENTS CLUB
Lexus Presidents Seats ticket holders have access
to the Lexus Presidents Club. Inside the
Presidents Club, members will enjoy sophisticated
comfort, exceptional service and enhanced
amenities, every game highlighted by a complimentary gourmet buffet amidst the elegance of a white tablecloth
setting. Presidents Club members will celebrate at the Oval Office
Bar as well as enjoy two window walls that offer an insider's view of
the home batting cage and press conference room.
LOST AND FOUND
Items lost and found will be turned into the Nationals Park Main
Guest Services Offi ce located at the Center Field Gate. Guests
may contact the Guest Services Offi ce at 202.640.7580 to inquire
about and/or to retrieve items lost. Lost and Found is open between
the hours of 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
LOST CHILDREN AND MISSING PERSONS
Guests should report missing persons at any Guest Services location
(See GUEST SERVICES for locations). Guest Services staff
will work closely with Nationals Park gameday staff, DC Fire & EMS
and DC MPD to locate the missing individual(s).

Guests can purchase Nationals merchandise and apparel at any of
the ballpark Team Stores, presented by Majestic, and at portable

Once a year auditions will be held to sing the National Anthem at Nationals
home games. This year's National Anthem auditions were
held on April 6, 2008.

The Nat Pack is the official Nationals Park entertainment crew in
charge of interacting with guests throughout the game. Guests may
see the Nat Pack hosting various contests and promotions at Nationals
Park and throughout the DC area.
NOISEMAKERS
Musical instruments and any type of noise-making devices are prohibited
in Nationals Park. Any exceptions will be at the discretion of
the Washington Nationals.
NURSING MOTHERS
Nursing mothers are invited to use one of several Family Restrooms.

A game is official after five innings have been completed (4-1/2 innings
if the home team is ahead).
OUT-OF-TOWN SCORES
The out-of-town scoreboard is located on the fence in Right Center
Field.
OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGE

soft-sided container or cooler, that does not exceed 16" x 16" x
8". Metal, plastic or glass containers of any kind (except for factory-
sealed, plastic water bottles, no larger than 1 liter and juice

PAGING
Guests will only be paged by the public address system in the event
of a medical emergency. Requests for paging guests attending
the game should be directed to any Guest Services location (see
GUEST SERVICES). If the situation can be verifi ed via a return call
to a physician, medical facility, police or fi re department, an attempt
will be made to deliver a message to the guest at their seat location
or make a public address announcement.

PNC DIAMOND CLUB
PNC Diamond Seat Season ticket holders have
access to the PNC Diamond Club, a classic
baseball-inspired restaurant that captures the
heritage of our national pastime and celebrates
Washington's baseball history— showcasing the
Senators and the Homestead Grays. The PNC Diamond Club features
a baseball-themed atmosphere including a replica of a scoreboard
from the 1924 World Series, green padded outfi eld walls
and ash baseball bats at the drink rail to enhance the "old time"
baseball feel and fl avor. The outdoor patio looks directly over the
infi eld and is the perfect perch to catch a quick bite as well as the
occasional foul ball. Diehard baseball fans will fi nd it hard to leave
this tribute to attend the national pastime.
POCKET SCHEDULES
Nats pocket schedules are available at several ballpark locations
including Guest Services, Concierge Services, Team Stores, Box
Offi ces, Lexus Presidents Club, Red Porch Restaurant, Red Loft
Bar, Stars & Stripes Club and PNC Diamond Club.
POLICE AND SECURITY
For the safety and convenience of all Nationals Park guests, police
and offi cial security personnel are stationed throughout the
ballpark. In the event of an emergency, guests should notify the
nearest Guest Services or Event Security staff member or visit any

PRESIDENTS RACE PRESENTED BY GEICO
The Presidents Race, presented by GEICO, takes place during the
middle of the 4th inning and features George Washington, Thomas
Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt. The Presidents
are also available for public functions. Those interested in learning

Nationals. Nationals Magazine provides in-depth features, extensive
stats and scouting reports, farm system reports, "Nats in your
Neighborhood" updates and a scorecard. The Nationals Yearbook
is a limited edition collector's piece. The Yearbook features over
150 pages of vivid player photos, stories from Washington's best
baseball minds and an in-depth look at that particular season.

RAILINGS
For the safety of everyone at the ballpark, guests are asked to refrain
from sitting, standing or leaning on ballpark railings.
RAIN DELAYS/POSTPONED GAMES
The right to delay the start of a game rests with the home club.
Once both team managers meet with the home plate umpire and
exchange lineup cards, the right to determine whether the game
will be interrupted or terminated is at the discretion of the Umpire-in-Chief. Under the provisions of the Official Playing Rules, the
Umpire-in-Chief has sole and unquestioned authority to determine
whether and when play is halted, when play will be resumed and
whether and when a game will be terminated due to bad weather
or unsafe playing conditions. In the event of a postponed or cancelled
game guests are advised to check the Washington Nationals
website at nationals.com, the local newspapers or Nationals media
affiliates for further information. Even with inclement weather,
the Washington Nationals will make every effort to play scheduled
games. In the event a legal game is not played due to weather,
guests are asked to retain their tickets. The ticket will serve as a
rain check for that re-scheduled game or may be exchanged for the
same price seat at a future Nationals home game during the 2008
season. All rain check exchanges are subject to availability.

RAMPS
There are two (2) ramps at Nationals Park, both of which access
the four public levels of the ballpark; Main Concourse, Club, Mezzanine
and Gallery Levels:

RED LOFT
The "Red Loft" provides the perfect perch for Nats fans to view the
game. Located directly above the Red Porch, these seats have
direct access to the Red Loft bar.
RED PORCH
The "Red Porch" seating located in Center Field offers a distinctive
perspective from which to view the game. The plush red seats are
within a "short hop" of the Red Porch Restaurant.
RESALE OF TICKETS / SCALPING
Resale of tickets above face value is prohibited within 100 ft. of
Nationals Park grounds. Violators are subject to arrest and prosecution
by the Metropolitan Police Department.
RESTROOMS
Men's, Women's, Family and Disabled Guests restrooms are located
throughout Nationals Park.
RETIRED NUMBERS
On April 15, 1997 Allan H. "Bud" Selig announced the baseballwide
retirement of Jackie Robinson's uniform number 42. Robinson's
number is displayed near the visitors bullpen. To date, no
Nationals players' numbers have been retired.
RFK STADIUM PARKING
Guests may park for FREE in Lot 8 at
RFK Stadium and board the FREE Nats
Express luxury motorcoach. Ride to the
game in comfort. Guests can take the
FREE Nats Express roundtrip shuttle to
and from Nationals Park. Guests can park for FREE at RFK Stadium
1 1/2 hours before the game to take the FREE Nats Express
shuttle round trip to Nationals Park. ADA equipped motorcoaches

SCOREBOARD MESSAGES
Nationals guests wishing to display general welcomes, as well as
birthday and anniversary messages on the scoreboard may do
so by making a $100.00 donation to the Washington Nationals
Dream Foundation at least five business days prior to the game
they wish to have their message appear. Scoreboard messages
will be displayed between the end of the fourth inning and the top
of the fifth inning. Guests interested in more information may visit

SCREECH
Screech, the Washington Nationals' offi cial mascot, is available for
private parties, corporate engagements, parades and other events.

Guests driving to Nationals Park should consider taking another
Nats fan or two. Those looking for a ride or a rider would be surprised
at the number of neighbors, friends or co-workers who are
coming to the game too!
SHIRLEY POVICH MEDIA CENTER
The press box in Nationals Park has been named the Shirley Povich
Media Center, in honor of the late Hall of Fame baseball writer.
A longtime friend of Nationals Managing Principal Owner, Theodore
N. Lerner, Povich entertained fans daily with his musings in
"This Morning with Shirley Povich," in particular by his writings on
baseball. The Shirley Povich Media Center is an integral component
of Nationals Park's state-of-the-art video and audio system.
SMOKING POLICY
The ballpark is a completely non-smoking facility. Guests wishing
to smoke must exit at either the Right Field Gate or the Third Base
Gate. Guests wishing to exit the ballpark to smoke must present
a valid ticket and receive a wristband before exiting the ballpark.
Guests wishing to reenter the ballpark must return with a valid ticket
and assigned wristband. Guests may not exit and reenter the
ballpark using only an admission ticket for any reason.
SPRING TRAINING
The Nationals get things started each spring in sunny Viera, Florida.
Fans are encouraged to catch some sun and join friends and
neighbors for Grapefruit League action at Space Coast Stadium.

A well-appointed, two-story, 33,000 sq.
ft. dining lounge and bar channel all the
energy and excitement of the game indoors.
Two full-service bars, including
the festive lounge, provide the perfect spot to enjoy the game. Access to the Club and Mezzanine Levels
requires guests to have the proper ticket.
STRIKE ZONE
Kids, young and old, should visit this kids-oriented play area that
features several interactive games and a great deal of enjoyment.

STROLLERS / BABY CARRIERS
Strollers are permitted in all concourse areas at Nationals Park. If
a guest has a stroller that, once folded, will fi t under a ballpark seat,
he/she will be permitted to take it to their seat. However, the Nationals
are not responsible for the stroller if it has not been checked.
Strollers that are unable to fold and fi t under a ballpark seat must
be checked at the Guest Services stroller room located near the
Center Field Gate, behind Section 103.

UMBRELLAS
Small umbrellas are allowed in Nationals Park. Any umbrella that
is not collapsible and will not fi t into a 16"x16"x8" bag will not be
permitted into the ballpark. Any umbrella that blocks sight lines or
becomes a nuisance for any reason to other guests is not permitted.
Ushers reserve the right to ask guests to lower their umbrellas
for the enjoyment of all guests in attendance.
USHERS
Ushers are stationed throughout Nationals Park to assist guests
and enforce ballpark rules and regulations. If someone is interfering
with a guest's enjoyment of the game, an Usher should be contacted.
Ushers are not permitted to solicit tips from guests; guests
are asked to report any such solicitations to a Guest Services location
(see GUEST SERVICES). Guests are asked to treat Nationals
Park Ushers with courtesy and respect; by enforcing the rules as
they are making the ballpark a safer and more comfortable environment
for all ballpark guests.

VISITING TEAM FANS
Visiting team fans are Nationals Park guests. Harassment of the
visiting team or their fans will not be tolerated and may result in
ejection.
WALK
Nationals Park guests can see the sights before they see the game.
Guests should check out DC's other offerings on their way to the
ballpark. Guests can tour the area by taking the Orange Blue Line
to the Capitol South Metro and then walking to the ballpark along
New Jersey Ave to M Street (past the horse barn under the freeway!).
Guests can also take the Orange Blue Line to the Eastern
Market station and enjoy over 21 restaurant and retail offerings
along Barracks Row Main Street. Those interested in more information
